I like playing with words and letters: that explains the (maybe weird) title of this post. Fall, folk art and fun. This week I wanted to have a little ‘fun’ with milk paint and my camera. A small creative project. I just wanted to pop in today to show you the result. Fall was at its peak, everything in nature around us was deep yellow and I knew it wouldn’t take long before every single leaf would be on the ground. And they come from … exactly … the Scandinavian countries. While I was planning the renovation of our upstairs living room, the ‘allrum‘ in Swedish, I felt myself drawn more and more to botanical decor. Fusion Mineral Paint with European flair

This post is straightforward. I’m showing off what my fellow European furniture painters create with Fusion Mineral Paint. That’s it. So simple. And that’s exactly the theme of this post: simplicity or ‘Less is more’. While I was looking through all the beautiful pictures of European pieces in Fusion Mineral Paint, one thing struck me: a lot of us are ‘less is more’. We just keep it simple, in painting and styling. And simplicity is strong, authentic and beautiful.

This piece was a pain. It really was. This was not because of the finish or the process of painting, but because of me.
