Business growth when you don’t have time

Business growth when you don't have time - Dala Muses

Hello from winter wonderland. It has been such a long time since I wrote on this blog. I missed it a lot! It’s one of the creative outlets that brings me joy, and is just another way to express myself. I’m glad to be back. The past weeks were a bit rocky in our family and I just didn’t have a lot of time left to write, work on my business or even relax a little bit. I hesitated to write ‘not a lot of time to work on my business’, because I’m a business coach. Who wants to read that a business coach doesn’t have a lot of time for her business, I was thinking? I haven’t been writing/blogging lately, I know. It was a conscious choice I made a few weeks ago. Just because I deserve my hibernation for a few weeks :). Jurgen and I had decided to combine our passions into one shop, one corner for me (furniture paint shop) and everything else bakery and bakery shop. I started out first and wanted to wait with this blog post until the bakery opened. Read more

For introvert creatives: my tips to put yourself out there!

It’s the evening before I leave for a short trip to my home country Belgium. I will be visiting family and teach a group of new retailers for Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint, together with Old Red Barn, the European distributor for Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint, Fusion Mineral Paint and Cling On brushes. I have done this many times before, I have been on flights on my own before,  I have been in front of a group before, I’m not even traveling to a ‘foreign’ country, but I’m a bit nervous. I just love my comfort zone … said the girl who wanted to start all over in another country. I also love to explore things out of my comfort zone! I’m very complex you could say haha. Read more
