Finding my way back

Finding my way back - Dala Muses

This is a post just for the sake of ‘creative expression’. The last time I wrote was on the 11th of July and we’re almost a month further now. I have been feeling under the weather for many weeks, which explains my absence. I went from an inflammed molar to a tooth extraction with complications over the course of 6 weeks. I don’t have to tell you that feeling sick or having pain is energy draining! Showing up for creativity

How to shop up for creativity, even when you don't feel like it - Dala Muses

Showing up for creativity, what a challenge! There are so many days I just don’t make something, write for my blog, paint, decorate my house, …  You and I don’t have the perfect life after all. I was stuck, had a creative block. The piece stood in my hallway for almost 2 months and every time I walked through the hallway, I sighed. I didn’t know what to do with it. I had a crisis haha.  That’s a lot of sighs every day I can tell you. Read more

Visual journaling for business: collages

Visual journaling for business - Dala Muses

I like these early evening hours at the end of Winter. Not yet dark, with a very quiet atmosphere here in the woods and the perfect moment to write. I want to tell a little bit about my collages, a creative outlet that starts in school and so often stays exactly there: in school.  But not in our house. I’m 38 years old, but I still love making collages and I do take them very seriously. I glue them in what I call my ‘visual journal’. Read more
