I like playing with words and letters: that explains the (maybe weird) title of this post. Fall, folk art and fun. This week I wanted to have a little ‘fun’ with milk paint and my camera. A small creative project. I just wanted to pop in today to show you the result. Fall was at its peak, everything in nature around us was deep yellow and I knew it wouldn’t take long before every single leaf would be on the ground. This Saturday started like any other day, but as soon as I looked out of the window, I was inspired. So many things had changed.  The nature all around me is in full bloom, growing faster than fast because of all the light and warmth. Meaning of the dala horse

When you have seen my blog’s logo, you know that a horse is the central element, to be specific: the Dala horse. To me the horse is 200% cuteness, it’s also the symbol of the province I live in, a symbol for Sweden and even for my own journey. I just have to use it in my home decor! Last week I made a wall decoration in my kitchen with small wooden dala horses and repurposed tin plates. The last finishing touch in Christmas decor before Christmas! Read more


Bitten by the stenciling bug

The plan was to show pictures of my new stenciled decor displayed outside, on a table in the snow. As soon as I was displaying everything it started to snow heavily for many hours. I moved everything inside and worked from there. Cozy and comfortable!
